The Perfect Time for Life Insurance
Why is NOW the perfect time for purchasing life insurance? We have all heard the old adage, “there is no time like the present.” This couldn’t ring more true than when it relates to life insurance.
People purchase life insurance as a form of protection because they either have a great love for others whom they want security for (term and/or permanent), or out of self-interest/avarice (permanent) hoping for cash value returns for themselves to spend in the future. Sometimes it could be a combination of the two. Let us focus on those that purchase out of love, not avarice, and show ‘why’ this love needs to start now!
Two main issues are at stake if we procrastinate: first is the price; second, and even more important, is health. It is quite obvious that with life and health products, the younger we are the smaller the premium payments. Health, just like age, can also affect the price of the product. The longer we wait to purchase the greater is our risk that we could come down with a medical issue that could warrant a “rating” and raise our premium. A lack of proper health can even take it one step further: we could end up becoming “uninsurable.” How much love does that show for our loved ones if we procrastinated so long at their expense and now we can’t protect them the way that we desired to do so initially?
We could be involved in an auto accident on the way home today, or not wake up tomorrow. Have we shown our love yet by purchasing the necessary protection? Our day will come, we know not ‘when’ nor ‘how’, but we can hope to keep our family members from saying ‘why’ didn’t they get life insurance? ‘What’ are we going to do ‘NOW’?
