One Stop Shopping for your Life Insurance Needs

Life Insurance

Recently I had a client who applied with several life insurance companies to obtain the best rate. The client contacted several insurance carriers directly to obtain quotes and the carriers had her fill out an application. The application and underwriting process became extremely frustrating for the client and she did not follow through with obtaining a policy.

At Pivot, we utilize the top insurance carriers so you can shop for the best rates.Filling out multiple life insurance applications is not required. If you are unsure what rate class you should apply for, we can help you.We will ask you some medical questions and based on your response, we can help you find the best insurance carrier for your needs.

When the above mentioned client applied to the different insurance carriers, they each required their own examination. The client had to schedule time off from work for the multiple examinations. At Pivot, we would have you apply with one insurance carrier and if you need to apply with another carrier, we would be able to use the same exam results.

Another problem with applying with multiple insurance carriers is possible duplication of medical records requests. For example, if you applied with 3 different insurance carriers and each carrier requested medical records from your primary physician, your physician’s office will have to submit 3 separate sets of records. With medical records being the number one reason for a delay in an underwriting decision, having to request 1 set of records will expedite the application process.
