Life Insurance is a Random Act of Kindness
Have you ever thought of life insurance as a random act of kindness? Well, February 15-21st is Random Acts of Kindness week and February 16th is Random Acts of Kindness Day. This is a celebration meant to give the entire human race a dose of compassion. The day was started by The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation; this is an internationally recognized non-profit organization founded upon the powerful belief in kindness and is dedicated to providing resources and tools that encourage acts of kindness.
Everybody has their own ideas on what the definition of kindness is. Here are a few examples of some acts of kindness we could all do.
1. Pay it backward, this has happened to me a few times when I was in line at the drive thru at Dunkin Donuts. I placed my order and when I got up to the window my order had been paid for by the car in front of me. I can honestly say that made my day. I think we should all try this one. I know I did and what a good feeling I had inside knowing that I made someone else’s day by paying for their order.
2. Maybe let someone go in front of you when you are in line, whether it be at the post office or maybe at the market or the coffee shop. They will appreciate it and you will feel good for your act of kindness.
3. Give someone a hug! When is the last time you hugged someone? Hugs are a great way to show someone that you care about them.
4. Make sure you have a life insurance policy to protect your family. I feel this is an act of kindness towards your family so they will have peace of mind if something were to happen to you.
These are just a few acts of kindness, but enjoy implementing your acts of kindness on your friends and family.
