Life Insurance is There For the Loved Ones You Leave Behind

Life Insurance

Life insurance is a gift for those left behind, I have seen this firsthand. Spring is in the air, the flowers are starting to sprout, the buds are on the trees and we are getting rain instead of snow. This time of year always reminds me of my dad. This year marks the 20th anniversary of his passing and it just doesn’t seem possible. A day doesn’t go by without me thinking of him and being grateful for having known him. My father was a remarkable man who left his mark on his family. He played a huge role in all of our lives growing up, but was gone from our lives way too soon. He did get to see my 4th and last child as an infant but unfortunately, my kids never got a chance to know and love the real man.

My mom had just turned 60 when he passed and she was way too young to be a widow. Now, she is 80, and living a lifestyle that wasn’t compromised by his death…..she travels, is active in her community and has adjusted to living independently. I tease her all the time and say, “Mom you’ll outlive all of us!”

This was all made possible because my dad had adequate life insurance. Believe me, the first few years were tough enough on her and all of us kids. But we did not have financial burdens to worry about. My Mom didn’t have to manage the added stress of not being financially sound.

I have spent my career in life Insurance. I’ve learned through my various experiences of working in the industry enough to know, that life is full of unexpected events and financial planning can literally make or break a family. Don’t let that happen to you. Take charge today and get a quote for life insurance. It is never too late.
