Life Insurance is Not Just a Blip on the Radar
Life insurance isn’t something we want to think about, until we have to. Lately if you turn on the news, it’s heart wrenching to see some of the tragedies that are out there in the world today. How does a commercial airline get shot down by a military operation? How did a train operator misjudge his speed coming into a turn? How does an entire community get overturned by a mudslide? We’re riddled with these tragedies on the news every day. It makes you stop and ponder, how many people that passed had life insurance?
Often times these tragedies are just blips on our daily radars. I think we all see it, think how tragic it is, then in a second are grateful it wasn’t us. Once that daily blip on the radar is gone, we no longer think about it because it doesn’t affect us personally. But it should make us consider what if we were the ones in that tragedy? Our lives are so busy that we get caught up in the day-to-day and don’t always think about the bigger picture. But when we take that deep breath, life insurance should be one of the topics of discussion. Affordable life insurance to deal with life’s unexpected tragedies is more accessible than ever before.
Recently with our children growing up to an age where we can travel, my wife and I took a second honeymoon to Europe. Not having flown in a long time, there was a bit of anxious tension with the kids asking a lot of questions. Yes, kids watch the news and pick up on the world events as well. It was a big sigh of relief for us to be able to tell them that based on the life insurance we had, should anything happen to either one of us, their futures would be secure.
What an amazing peace of mind to be able to pull the policies out and put them where they could be accessible for my extended family, if in fact a tragedy occurred.
Life insurance is the best way to sleep at night knowing that you’ve secured a solid financial future for your family should a tragic life event occur.
