Term Life Insurance Will Never Be Cheaper Than it is Today

Are you sure you don’t need any term life insurance? Many clients I speak with frequently tell me they wish they had looked into and bought a life insurance policy when they were younger. When you are young, graduating high school and heading for college you don’t think about things like having your own life insurance policy. The great thing about rates for young people is that you can purchase a good amount of coverage for usually a very low price. Even if you were to purchase a 10 year term life insurance policy at age 21, even in ten years at 31, as long as you are in good health, the rates will still be favorable.

You may be surprised on how inexpensive it truly is, especially if you are young. And now is the time to put some thought into your future financial goals. What are your goals? Where do you see yourself in 10 or 15 years? If you get started with a term life insurance policy today you will be setting yourself up, at a much lower cost, to be financially protected in the future. You may end up meeting someone, getting married and starting a family. Wouldn’t it be great if you already had a term life insurance policy in place to provide financial protection?

I often hear from clients how their health has suddenly changed and not for the better. Now, due to health concerns, the cost of insurance can be very high or in some cases, insurance carriers will not offer any life insurance coverage. In this situation, people end up applying for guaranteed issue life insurance which asks no medical questions and has no health exam. These types of policies usually offer lower amounts of coverage and may be more expensive compared with traditional term life insurance policies.
